You're looking for an original, unique and off the beaten path experience in the Loire Valley vineyard? Come and join us for a tasting amidst the vines of Vouvray!

Meet us at our family winery, Vignoble Alain Robert, located at the heart of the Vouvray vineyard. We will start this wine tour with a guided walk in the vineyard, to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and to learn about AOC Vouvray, its specificities and requirements in terms of grape varieties, soils... as well as the different styles of wines produced in the area and the vinegrower's work throughout the year. We will then settle among the vines to taste 5 Vouvray and Touraine wines produced at the family winery and served with local delicacies. A wine game will be offered before the wine tasting to remind you about the techniques to taste wine. As we go back to the winery after the wine tasting, it will be possible for you to buy wine there at cellar-door prices.

NB: in case you are a vegetarian, please let us know in advance so that we can adapt the local delicacies served during the wine tasting to your diet. If you eat gluten-free food, you are welcome to bring your own bread.

Come with your family and spend an unforgettable moment in the vineyard! The guided walk in the vines is the opportunity for children to take part in a scavenger hunt during which they learn about the vine. A sensory game for both grown-ups and children is organised before the wine tasting starts.

Young visitors get to taste 3 local fruit juices in dark glasses, while their parents taste wine. Everybody gets to enjoy the local food served on slate boards.

At the end of the tour, children are given an activity book including quizzes and games about vine-growing and wine-making.

NB: should you come with a very young child, note that the footpaths taken during the gourmet stroll are accessible to strollers/pushcarts.
