Aperitif on river Cher
After 4 years organising aperitif wine tastings on river Cher, it is now time for us to develop other wine activities. These boat rides and wine tastings will therefore no longer be offered until further notice.
At the end of the day, join Myriam for an aperitif on river Cher, on a traditional wooden boat named 'Le Jean Bricau' (did you know that in French boats are given men's names!) and owned by a local association whose members are passionate about their village, Véretz, and about the Cher river, that runs through it. Since summer 2020, we have partnered with them to offer boat rides and wine and food tastings at aperitif time.
2 departures - at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm - for a one-and-a-half hour ride will allow you to relax, enjoy beautiful sceneries, discover the local history and taste 3 local wines produced along the river and served with local delicacies (Loire fish rillettes, charcuteries and cheeses from Touraine, a local dessert such as macaroon from Cormery or nougat de Tours). At the end of the day, the lights on the river can be amazing - photography enthusiasts and nature lovers, you are in for a treat!
