Cathy and Jean-Pierre live in an old house built along the limestone cliff in Chançay. But this is not where they offer you to stay. They've built 2 Mongolian yurts in their garden, which combine authenticity and comfort. Made for 2 and 4 people, they both offer a lot of space, a private bathroom and a small kitchen that will enable to cook your own meals. Unless you prefer Cathy to serve you dinner, as she offers home-made meals cooked with local products and vegetables grown in her own garden. Have a nice meal... and a good night!


B & B 'La ferme de Launay'


It is a warm welcome that awaits you at Claudine's place, located just outside the village of Chançay. Her house is an old farm that was restored and turned a few years ago into a B&B.

It offers 3 bedrooms, a swimming-pool, a large park to stroll around and to allow you to relax while enjoying all the treasures of Touraine and the Loire Valley.

Shall you book a wine tour with Myriam, you will be able to walk to the winery , as it is only a 10 minutes' walk from Claudine's home. No driving! A good opportunity to fully enjoy the wine tasting!

B&B 'Le Moulin des Landes'

in Vernou-sur-Brenne (15 km from Tours, 15 km from Amboise)


A lovely house with a lovely host! Florence's house - an old mill - is located in the village of Vernou-sur-Brenne, which is one of the 8 villages where Vouvray wines are produced. It is only a 2 minutes's walk to go to the center of the village where you can find all sorts of shops (2 bakers', 2 charcuteries, a grocer's, a butcher's, a flower shop...) and 2 cafés. The local food served during the wine tastings offered by Myriam  mostly come from the shops found in the village.

Florence is perfectly knowledgeable about all the attractions in the area and she will be happy to give you advice for you to enjoy a perfect stay in the Loire Valley.

Jean-Louis welcomes you to this former 19th-century post-house located at the heart of Vernou-sur-Brenne, which is one of the 8 villages where Vouvray wines are produced.

Monique Marboeuf will be your host if you decide to stay in this traditional limestone house located near the centre of Vouvray. Part of the house is dug in the rock - troglodytes are the traditional habitat in this area of the Loire Valley

Monique's house is a winemaker's house, it was built in the 16th century. The decoration of the 3 bedrooms is inspired by foreign destinations: India, Africa and Eastern Europe.

This B&B is ideally located if you wish to discover the vineyard of Vouvray and the wine cellars, the city of Tours and the chateaux of the Loire Valley.

Jérôme et Marie-Aymée are the owners of these 2 apartments dug in the rock, and they live themselves in a cave. They will be happy to share their experience and have you discover this traditional habitat, which was very common among the vinegrowers' and winemakers' population until the beginning of the 20th century. 

Their 2 flats dug in the rock are nicely decorated and offer all 21st-century comfort. They are located in a lovely hamlet called La Rochère, from which you will be able to walk to the vineyard or walk along the limestone cliffs to enjoy the view over the valley or the nice houses of Noizay.

Auberge de la Brenne


in Neuillé-le-Lierre (15 km  from Amboise)


It is possible to book 5 bedrooms in this family-run hotel, located at the heart of a peaceful village, only 20 minutes from Amboise.


The Salé family also has a restaurant, that is just across the road. Ghislaine, the mother, is the chef and now shares the kitchen with her son-in -law, while her daughters and husband look after the clients in the dining-room. This is one of the best tables of the region. In summer, ask for a table on the terrace.

Claudine Buonomano and her husband own a magnificent Renaissance manor house located only 5 minutes from the town of Amboise and the vineyard of Vouvray.

3 comfortable bedrooms dug in the rock can be booked. A small kitchen is available in case, after a long day visiting the nearby chateaux and wine cellars, you don't want to have dinner outside. Home-made breakfast, made from seasonal and local products, is included.
