Article 1 : BOOKING PROCEDURES
Bookings may either be made online through the website www.loire-wine-tours.com, or by email, telephone or post.
To secure a reservation, and unless otherwise agreed, a 25% deposit of the total amount due is required.
In case an estimate was sent to you, a signed copy shall be returned to Myriam Fouasse-Robert prior to the option date mentioned.
Payment of the deposit means you accept the following general terms and conditions and the specific conditions mentioned on the estimate.
Article 2 : DEPOSIT
The deposit for online bookings equals 25% of the total amount due.
For direct reservations the deposit equals 30% of the total amount due.
Extra expenses mentioned in the estimate are to be paid at the same time as the deposit and won't be refunded in case the tour is cancelled by the customer.
Article 3 : PAYMENT
Payment of the deposit shall be made in Euros (€) on the website www.loire-wine-tours.com, or by bank or Paypal transfer.
Bank and Paypal transfer charges to be borne by customer.
The remainder shall be paid on the day of the tour, in Euros (€), by cash only.
Article 4 : PRICES
Prices are in Euros (€) and per person.
All prices include taxes.

Article 5 : CANCELLATION OR NO-SHOW POLICY
Tours may be cancelled up to 15 days prior to the tour by email (rdvdanslesvignes@gmail.com) or by using the Contact form of the website www.loire-wine-tours.com. In this case, the whole deposit will be refunded. If some extra expenses are implied, these expenses shall not be refunded. In case the reservation has been made online, on www.loire-wine-tours.com, the commission fees charged by the company managing the online booking software cannot be reimbursed. Finally, in case the repayment is made by bank transfer and that the latter generates some extra costs,they will be borne by the client.
For any cancellation made
less than 15 days prior to the tour, the deposit will not be refunded.
For any cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the tour or in case of no-show, the full amount of the tour is due.
In the event a reservation has been made for several people and and one of the participants does not show up on the day of the tour without giving prior notice to Myriam Fouasse-Robert, the full amount corresponding to the booking will have to be paid.
In the event an estimate has been drawn up mentioning a price per person, and in the event the number of people showing up on the day of the tour is lower than that mentioned on the estimate but no prior notice has been given by the customer about this, the sum of money corresponding to the number of people appearing on the quote will be claimed.
Article 6 : UNAVAILABILITY OF THE GUIDE OR CANCELLATION BY MYRIAM
FOUASSE-ROBERT
If the guide is not available, Myriam Fouasse-Robert shall offer an alternative date. If no other date can be found, and in the case a deposit has already been paid, the ful deposit shall be refunded (in this case extra expenses shall be refunded as well).
Article 7 : LATE ARRIVAL
Tours will leave according to itineraries and will not wait for ‘latecomers’.
No refund can be made if participants miss the tour because of a delay. Myriam Fouasse-Robert can in no way be held responsible for delays in transit time due to circumstances beyond her control.
Article 8 : INTERRUPTION OF THE TOUR
In case the tour is interrupted by the client, the full amount of the tour is due. No refund shall be made.
Article 9 : WEATHER CONDITIONS
Tours in the vineyard depend on weather conditions. In case of bad weather, an indoor alternative will be offered.
Article 10 : TOUR CHARACTERISTICS
Myriam Fouasse-Robert offers 3 types of tours, whose characteristics are the following:
- public tours are tours run for groups between 2 and about 15 people. You share a guide with other visitors.
- private tours are tours when the guide exclusively given les prestations « privées » vous donnent l'exclusivité du guide pour votre petit comité à partir de 2
personnes.
- group sessions are dedicated to organised groups : school trips, holiday camps, seminars…
Article 11 : MISCELLANEOUS
A minimum of 2 people is required to guarantee the departure.
Tours are made in French OR English.
As our tours include walking in the vineyard, don't forget to wear appropriate shoes. We advise you to wear warm clothes when in the cellar (temperature of 12-13°C).
We accept no responsability for stolen or lost property.
Visitors must be able to prove age over 18 years for the consumption of wine during the tour.
Article 12 : GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates can be bought online through www.rdvdanslesvignes.com or www.loire-wine-tours.com.
The full amount of the tour chosen is due.
Gift certificates are sent to you by email. Gift certificates can also be sent to you by post office - only to addresses located in France. In this case a 5€-fee is to be paid online, whatever the number of gift certificates you buy.
Gift certificates are valid for one year after the date of purchase. Reservations made prior to the expiry date will be taken into account, even though the tour occurs after the expiry date mentioned on the gift certificate. Reservations made after the expiry date will not be taken into account. In case the recipient of the gift card can't come before the expiry date, it will be possible to extend its validity, as long as Myriam is contacted before the gift card expires.
NB: in the event that a visit should be canceled by Myriam due to Covid-19 (lockdown, curfew, borders closing...), the validity of the gift voucher will be extended to allow the recipient to benefit from it later. In case the recipient of a gift voucher should cancel his/her visit due to Covid-19 (contact case, positive test), the validity of the gift voucher will be extended in order to allow the hiù/her to take advantage of it later.
