Article 1 : BOOKING PROCEDURES
Bookings may either be made online through the website www.loire-wine-tours.com, or by email, telephone or post.
To secure a reservation, and unless otherwise agreed, a 25% deposit of the total amount due is required.
In case an estimate is sent to you, a signed copy shall be returned to Myriam Fouasse-Robert prior to the option date mentioned.
Payment of the deposit means you accept the following general terms and conditions and the specific conditions mentioned on the estimate.
Article 2 : DEPOSIT
The deposit for online bookings equals 25% of the total amount due.
For direct reservations the deposit equals 30 % of the total amount due.
Extra expenses mentioned in the estimate are to be paid at the same time as the deposit and won't be refunded in case the tour is cancelled by the customer.
Article 3 : PAYMENT
Payment of the deposit shall be made in Euros (€) on the website www.loire-wine-tours.com, or by bank or Paypal transfer.
Bank and Paypal transfer charges to be borne by customer.
The remainder shall be paid on the day of the tour, in Euros (€), by cash only.
In the case of wine tours and tastings carried out for companies or travel agencies to whom an invoice is sent after the tour, the sum mentioned on the invoice must be paid upon receipt of this invoice.
Article 4 : PRICES
Prices are in Euros (€) and per person.
All prices include taxes.

Article 5 : CANCELLATION OR NO-SHOW POLICY
Tours may be cancelled up to 15 days prior to the tour by email (rdvdanslesvignes@gmail.com) or by using the Contact form of the website www.loire-wine-tours.com. In this case, the whole deposit will be refunded. If some extra expenses are implied, these expenses shall not be refunded. In case the reservation has been made online on www.loire-wine-tours.com the commission fees charged by the company managing the online booking software cannot be reimbursed. Finally, in case the repayment is made by bank transfer and that the latter generates some extra costs, they will be borne by the client.
For any cancellation made less than 15 days prior to the tour, the deposit will not be refunded.
For any cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the tour or in case of no-show, the full amount of the tour is due.
We do not postpone wine tours and wine tastings due to last-minute impediments that are not our responsibility (delayed transportation, strikes, illness, etc.)
Cancellations due to weather conditions are not accepted. Except in case of exceptional weather conditions that could endanger participants, we ensure visits regardless of the weather, making adaptations if necessary (we may change the order of the tour, take cars to go to thte vineyard, give more explanations indoors, etc.)
In the event a reservation has been made for several people and and one of the participants does not show up on the day of the tour without giving prior notice to Myriam Fouasse-Robert, the full amount corresponding to the booking will have to be paid.
In the event an estimate has been drawn up mentioning a price per person, and in the event the number of people showing up on the day of the tour is lower than that mentioned on the estimate but no prior notice has been given by the customer about this, the sum of money corresponding to the number of people appearing on the quote will be claimed.
Article 6 : UNAVAILABILITY OF THE GUIDE OR CANCELLATION BY MYRIAM
FOUASSE-ROBERT
If the guide is not available and cannot be replaced, Myriam Fouasse-Robert shall offer an alternative date. If no other date can be found, and in the case a deposit has already been paid, the ful deposit shall be refunded (in this case extra expenses shall be refunded as well).
Depending on the wine tours and wine tastings, a minimum of 4 to 7 participants is required. However, if this minimum number is not reached, Rendez-Vous dans les Vignes reserves the right to cancel the tour/tasting and offer visitors an alternative date. If this date does not suit clients, the deposit paid when booking will be refunded. In case visitors have been offered gift vouchers, the validity date of the voucher will be extended so that they can benefit from it at a later date.
Article 7 : LATE ARRIVAL
If the wine tour/tasting is provided for several clients, the start time will be respected by the tour guide. Tours/tastings will not wait for ‘latecomers’.
In the case of a private tour and in the event of a delay, the service will be shortened accordingly.
Any delay must be notified
by telephone at +33 6 52 16 97 07.
In the event a participant or a group of participants is late, no refund or compensation will be offered.
Myriam Fouasse-Robert can in no way be held responsible for delays in transit time due to circumstances beyond her control.
Article 8 : INTERRUPTION OF THE TOUR
In case the tour is interrupted by the client, the full amount of the tour is due. No refund shall be made and no compensation shall be given.
Article 9 : WEATHER CONDITIONS
Except in case of exceptional weather conditions that could endanger participants, we ensure visits regardless of the weather, making adaptations if necessary (we may change the order of the tour, take cars to go to thte vineyard, give more explanations indoors, etc.)
In case of bad weather and of a wine tasting originally scheduled outside, an indoor alternative will be offered.
Article 10 : TOUR CHARACTERISTICS
Myriam Fouasse-Robert offers 3 types of tours, whose characteristics are the following:
- public tours are tours run for groups between 2 and about 15 people. You share a guide with other visitors.
- private tours are tours when the guide exclusively given les prestations « privées » vous donnent l'exclusivité du guide pour votre petit comité à partir de 2
personnes.
- group sessions are dedicated to organised groups : school trips, holiday camps, seminars…
Article 11 : MISCELLANEOUS
A minimum of 4 to 7 people is required to guarantee the departure.
Tours are made in French OR English.
As our tours include walking in the vineyard, please wear appropriate shoes. We advise you wear warm clothes when in the cellar (temperature of 12-13°C).
We accept no responsability for stolen or lost property during our wine tours and wine tastings.
Visitors must be able to prove age over 18 years for the consumption of wine during the wine tasting.
Article 12 : GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates can be bought online through www.rdvdanslesvignes.com
or www.loire-wine-tours.com. The purchase of gift certificates implies the payment of the full amount corresponding to the chosen wine tour/tasting.
Gift certificates are sent to you by email, in the form of an A4 coupon to be printed by your own means. Gift certificates can also be sent to you by post - only to addresses located in France. In this case a 5€ fee is to be paid online, whatever the number of gift certificates you buy.
Gift certificates are valid for one year after the date of purchase. Gift certificates for wine tours and wine tastings scheduled exclusively in summer ('Of Wines adn Boats', 'Apéro sur le Cher') may however have to a validity period that is either a little shorter or a little longer, to take into account the seasonality of the tours/tastings and to ensure that the beneficiaries contact us on time
Any reservation request made after the end of validity date mentioned on the gift certificate will be refused. The validity of the voucher may be extended only to the extent that the beneficiary contacts Myriam Fouasse-Robert BEFORE the end of the validity date. In the event that a gift voucher is used after the initial validity date and in the event that the price of the wine tour/tasting has increased, we reserve the right to ask the beneficiaries to pay a supplement corresponding to the price increase.
The beneficiary of the gift certificate must
present it on the day of the tour/tasting.
Any appointment made with a gift certificate and cancelled less than 48 hours
before the start time of the service cannot be postponed.
In the event that a wine tour/tasting should be cancelled by
Myriam Fouasse-Robert, no refund of the gift certificate will be made. Its validity will be extended to allow the beneficiary to
come and enjoy it at a later date.
Gift vouchers are not refundable. They can be exchanged for another wine tour/tasting, subject to payment of a supplement if this wine tour/tasting is offered at a higher rate. In the event that this wine tour/tasting service is sold at a lower rate than that of the gift certificate, no compensation or refund will be granted.
If you are not the recipient of the gift voucher, you are invited to inform the beneficiaries of the conditions set out above.
These cancellation and postponement conditions also apply to gift ertificates that are purchased on websites other than www.rdvdanslesvignes.com and www.loire-wine-tours.com
Article 13: UPDATES OF OUR GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
