October 30 th 2020: a new period of lockdown has been decided by the French government, which means our wine tours and wine tastings scheduled over the next few weeks have to be canceled. Here are some some information about postponements and possible refunds. And about the online wine tastings that we are now affering, and the possibility of treating your loved ones by offering gift vouchers that can be ordered online.
Harvest 2020: the first grapes were cut on August 31st at the family winery, Vignoble Alain Robert. A very early date in the Loire Valley, where the harvest normally begins at the end of September. This article is meant to give you some explanations about the purpose and interest of hand harvest as opposed to machine harvest, and to share a beautiful video filmed by an American visitor who took part in one of our Loire Wine Tours at harvest time in September 2017.
Our Loire Wine Tours will gradually resume from Monday May 11th. The sSafety of our visitors during our visits and hygiene during our wine tastings have always been part of our priorities for the last 6 years.
